John Lund (born January 1954) is a BriSCA Formula 1 Stock Cars racing driver from Clitheroe who races under number 53. He is currently graded as a superstar and has held this grade contually since the mid-1980s. Lund is one of the most successful stock car drivers of all time and holds the current record for the most World Championship wins.

Lund started racing in 1976, debuting at Rochdale on 28th March. He progressed to star grade in 1977, and to superstar in 1981.
In 1987 Lund won his first major title, the British Championship. He completed a sweep of the top three major championships when he won the World Championship at Belle Vue Stadium and the National Points Championship in the same year. Lund then retained the World Championship in 1988, and won the National Points Championship for six consecutive years. He won the Dutch-based Long Track World Championship in 1990.
Lund has won the World Championship eight times, more than any other driver. His World Championship successes were in 1987, 1988, 1991, 1992, 1996, 1997, 2000 and 2002.
In 2004 his eldest son, James Lund started racing under number 153, achieving red top briefly before settling down to blue top in his first season. In 2005 his next eldest, Sam Lund started racing under number 531. Sam (19) died on the morning of Thursday 18 January 2007 having endured a car accident whilst driving his younger cousin, James Dewhurst (16) to get ready for a night out.
